Resource Monitoring

Resource monitoring is almost 100% necessary when embarking on larger projects or where financial assistance is required from certain banks or even from some loans. Hard evidence of a resource is used as part of a business case to ensure that the site you are looking at is viable for the technology and not a red herring.

Resource monitoring mainly covers wind turbine installations and hydro schemes as the solar resource in the UK is a bit easier to predict using software models and is less site specific when careful siting and panel orientation is taken into consideration.

EML aims to provide this service as a low-cost investment with high-gain results. We can offer wind monitoring equipment and hydro monitoring equipment that can be easily installed at your preferred location(s).

If you want a more education based system as part of an all-rounded package to include wind speed, wind direction, solar irradiation, rainfall and accurate temperature then we can offer a complete weather station - this is typically more suited to schools and other education facilities.
